Rabat – Moroccan footballer Zakaria Hadraf has left Morocco’s Raja of Casablanca football club (RCA) to join Damac football club in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi football club announced the signing of the footballer on its official Twitter account on May 28.

In the tweet, the Saudi club welcomed the striker to the team. The 29-year old footballer has played for several Moroccan clubs, including Difaa El Jadida.

The footballer, who signed a one year contract with the Saudi club, also contributed to Morocco’s win during the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2018).

Hadraf’s contract with the Saudi club is renewable.

Hadraf is one of a wave of Moroccan professional footballers who have joined Saudi football clubs, including Nordin Amrabat and Abderrazak Hamdallah who joined Al Nasser.

Sofiane Boufal has said his goodbyes to Celta Vigo after an interesting time with the club.

The Southampton owned player topped the dribbling statistics for much of the season, but end product didn’t often live up to what had happened before it.

He’s certainly been entertaining to watch for Celta fans, if at times frustrating, and now there’s a confusion of whether a stay is remotely possible.

Faro de Vigo report Boufal is still considered a ‘very interesting’ player for Celta in this transfer market, but he’s only a second option. Even then, the Spanish club wouldn’t be looking to pay the €15m option they agreed with Southampton last summer.

El Desmarque sound even more negative, explaining the fee and the player’s wages are ‘far from the possibilities’ of Celta’s finances right now.

They believe Ralph Hasenhüttl will take a serious look at the player in Southampton’s preseason training, and therefore a stay at the Saints isn’t ruled out.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with the Moroccan star - but so too have Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has confirmed that Hakim Ziyech will leave the club this summer - it's just a matter of where.

Ziyech, the left-footed Moroccan international, played a starring role in the Dutch club's run to the Champions League semi-finals.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable campaign in Amsterdam, scoring 21 goals and registering 24 assists for Erik ten Hag's side as they completed a domestic double.

Scouts have flocked to the Johan Cruyff Arena to keep tabs on the club's star names, and Ziyech has impressed.

Manchester United , Arsenal and Liverpool have all been watching him - as have Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, with the pair eyeing him as replacement for Arjen Robben and Christian Pulisic respectively.

Bayern have already made contact with the player's representatives.

Ziyech has been non-committal on his future thus far, saying after the club sealed the Dutch title this week "That [a move] will come by itself. When that happens, everyone will automatically hear it."

Ajax are resigned to losing the ex-Twente star for a relatively meagre £25million, due to a release clause in his contract.

But Overmars admits he will go with their blessing.

"He leaves when a top club comes," said the Ajax boss. "He is in focus because of his achievements in the Champions League.

"Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim [that we would] agree to a good transfer."

Ziyech was named the club's player of the year after his displays.

He is expected to be part of the Morocco squad at this summer's Africa Cup of Nations also, with the Atlas Lions having been drawn in Group D, alongside Namibia, South Africa and Ivory Coast.

(Goal.com) The Moroccan has garnered plenty of attention from top clubs with his displays for the Eredivisie side over the past three seasons

Hakim Ziyech has suggested he may not be ready to leave Ajax after this season comes to an end, saying he is "someone who is very picky".

The 26-year-old has been reported to have had admirers in the past thanks to strong seasons in the Eredivisie with FC Twente and later Ajax.

But Ziyech has seemingly taken things to a higher level this term for Ajax during a remarkable campaign for himself individually and the club as a whole.

The Morocco international has scored 19 goals and added 20 assists in all competitions, with Ajax in first place domestically and having sensationally defeated Real Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League knockout stage to advance to the semi-final round, where they will face Tottenham.

That form has led to increased reported transfer interest from around Europe, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich just two of the many teams linked with the 26-year-old.

Though many expect him to move on at season's end, Ziyech has warned he isn't necessarily ready to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena and only will seek an exit if the right situation appeals to him.

“Anything is possible," the attacking midfielder told Inside Ajax.

“I am always someone who is very picky and there must be a club that I want to trade in for Ajax. That doesn’t just happen.”

Ziyech, who joined Ajax from Twente in 2016, has a contract with the club through the 2020-21 season.

He is one of many players who the Dutch club will face a battle to keep past the season, with the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and David Neres among those drawing eyes from Europe's top sides, while Frenkie de Jong has already agreed to a move to Barcelona.

Ajax are currently level on points with PSV atop the Eredivisie table, and will take on Groningen in league play on Saturday.

Their Champions League semi-final with Spurs begins with the first leg on April 30, before the return leg a week later.
